this series of images and writing documents the two month physical process of fabricating, casting, and assembling the sculpture nunca por nada- as well as the journey of teaching myself the accompanying song. having captured, and being able to now look back at this once in a life-time project in the order of its creation, is incredibly special to me.

I hope you enjoy it as well.

a thank you note

It wouldn't be right to bring this accumulation of work to a close without saying thank you- to the ones who have supported me, and believed in this project. I couldn't have done it without you all.

and to my found family, my many chosen brothers and sisters, the ones I love so dearly, and the ones I have lost- to the spaces I have inhabited and left, to the objects that we hold onto that break, and to you, Dad and Mya. I hold both of you with me wherever I go, and this is for you.
